Bronx, N.Y. – A 25-point performance by forward Isaiah Geathers paced the Lehman College men's basketball to an 87-76 victory against non-conference opponent St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn in its season home opener at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday evening. The Lightning improve to a 4-2 overall ledger, while the Bears fall to a 2-4 mark.
St. Joseph's trailed by only eight points (27-19) midway through the first half, however Lehman outscored the visitor 28 to 13 to take a 23-point advantage going into the intermission. (55-32).
The Bears mounted a comeback by hitting six of its overall eight three-pointers in the second half and cut the Lightning lead to nine (85-76) with less than a minute remaining. However, Lehman guard Will Feldman hit a pair of free-throws with 44 seconds remaining to seal the victory.
Feldman had a total of 22 points for the Lightning along with seven assists and six rebounds. Guard Juan Fernandez added 11 points with five assists.

nd) when it travels to take on Brooklyn College at West Quad Gym with tip-off set for 5 pm ET.
