Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball dropped a 73-62 decision to visiting Manhattanville College in a non-conference encounter on Thursday at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning fall to a 7-5 overall record, while the Valiants improve to a 9-3 mark.
Manhattanville never trailed in the game as it first jumped to a 10-point advantage at the intermission (41-31).
Lehman battled back in the second stanza as it went on a 15 to 6 run to cut Manhattanville's lead to single point (47-46) with 12:31 remaining. However, the Valiants went on a run of their own, 20 to 10 to with 2:31 remaining (67-56) to pull away and hold on to the victory.
