Bronx, N.Y. – Four Lehman College athletic teams will be in action on Saturday as both basketball sides will hosts CUNYAC twin-bill against Baruch College, while the both indoor track & field squads finish participation at the Rutgers University Open.
The Lightning track and field stars will compete their second day at Rutgers Open at The Armory in upper Manhattan. Lehman, which is competing in its third consecutive event at The Armory this season, will continue its running and field events at the Rutgers Open on Saturday from 11 am ET – 4:10 pm ET. Also, on Saturday, both Lehman hoopsters welcome the Baruch Bearcats at The APEX Main Gym as women's sides square off at 12 pm ET, while the men's squads meet at 2 pm ET. Fans can follow all the basketball action via live stats and live stream:

The Lightning women (3-13; 2-7 CUNYAC) are coming off 76-41 conference loss at John Jay College this past Wednesday.
Brianna Barnes paced Lehman offense with 14 points, five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, the Bearcats (8-9; 6-4 CUNYAC) posted a 77-59 home victory against CUNYAC opponent York College-NY at ARC Arena.
Bearcats hold a 27-10 advantage in the head-to-head meetings against the Lightning since 2003. Lehman has posted victories in six of the last 11 encounters, however, Baruch has won the previous five match-ups. The last time both sides squared off was last month (January 19
th) with hosts Bearcats winning 61-38.
Mojisola Shokeye and Barnes had 12 and 10 points, each, respectively for the Lightning.
In the twin-bill nightcap at The APEX, the Lehman men (17-3; 10-2 CUNYAC) will look to knock off the current conference leader Baruch (17-5; 11-1 CUNYAC).
The Lightning are coming off a hard-fought 84-76 overtime victory against hosts John Jay at The Doghouse this past Wednesday.
Isaiah Geathers notched 24 points with seven boards, while
Mo Idrissou added 20 points and nine rebounds for Lehman.
Meanwhile, the Bearcats lost their first conference game, 71-65, to visiting Medgar Evers College, at the Arc Arena on Wednesday.
Baruch has a 21-17 edge in the head-to-head series against Lehman since 2003, which includes winning five of the last six encounters. The last time both sides faced off was last month (Jan. 19
th) when the Bearcats posted a 71-61 win at Arc Arena. Geathers and
Gian Batista each had 'double-doubles' with 25 points with 12 rebounds and 18 points with 18 rebounds, respectively.
