New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team concluded it season on Tuesday evening after falling in three straight sets (13-25, 13-25, 21-25) to hosts CCNY in opening round of CUNYAC Championship before 300 fans at Nat Holman Gymnasium.
The Lightning drop to 7-15 overall record, while the Beavers improve to 13-6 and advance to the CUNYAC Semis.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman jumped to a 12-6 lead in the third game. Then, CCNY went on a 19 to 9 run to win the set and the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the Lightning offense with eight kills, while
Miguel Gonzalez added six kills.
Christian Agudo dished out 11 assists, while
Juan Lemus grabbed nine digs.
