Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Lightning Drop Opener to Sarah Lawrence

The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped their season opener, falling 7-0 to Sarah Lawrence (1-1). 

The Gryphons dominated in the early going scoring two goals in first two minutes of the contest.  Lehman was able to settle down during the middle of the half only to let up a pair of goals in the final minutes of the first half.  The Gryphons added three more in the second half for the final margin of victory. 

Sarah Lawrence out-shot the Lightning 28-3.  Lehman goal keeper Josephina Flores was credited with 8 saves.

Lehman returns to action on Wednesday with a trip to the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY.  Game time is 5:00 PM
