Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - Despite 'double-double' of 22 points and 16 rebounds by forward Brianna Barnes, the Lehman College women's basketball team fell by score of 74-65 to visiting Baruch College in a CUNYAC encounter at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday evening.  The Lightning drop to a 6-10 overall record and 2-4 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improve to a 9-7 mark and 3-2 in conference play.

Lehman trailed by two points (18-16) after the first quarter, however Baruch went on a 30 to 17 run in the second period to take a 15-point advantage into the half.

The Lightning went on a 17 to 8 run in third quarter to cut the deficit to six points (66-60) however the Bearcats held on for the victory..

Forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo also had a 'double-double' for Lehman with 13 points and 10 boards, while teammate Barbara Valentin added 13 points.

The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (January 21st) when they welcome Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC Match up at The APEX Main Gym.
