Box Score Bronx, N.Y.. - Forward Barbara Valentin scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Lehman College women's basketball team to a 68-32 victory against visiting Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC encounter during homecoming on Saturday at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning improve to a 7-10 overall ledger and 3-4 in CUNYAC action, while the Cougars drop 2-13 mark and 0-6 in conference play.

Lehman jumped out to a 19-0 run early in the first quarter and never looked back.

Forward Brianna Barnes had a 'triple-double' for the Lightning she notched 20 points with 12 assists and 10 rebounds.  Also, forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo posted a 'double-double' with 13 points and 12 boards.

Lehman returns to action on Monday (January 23rd) when it hosts Old Westbury in a non-conference match-up at The APEX Mian Gym at 6 pm ET.
