Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – A 'double-double' by forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo (14 points, 12 rebounds) wasn't enough as the Lehman College women's basketball team dropped a 53-49 non-conference encounter to visiting Old Westbury at The APEX Main Gym on Monday.  The Lightning fall to a 7-11 overall record, while the Panthers improved to a 1-14 mark.

After trailing 27-15 at the intermission, Lehman went on a 17 to 7 run in the third quarter and cut the deficit to two points (34-32).  However, Old Westbury closed out the fourth period outscoring the hosts 19-17 for the victory.

Forward Barbara Valentin notched 12 points for the Lightning, while center Myandra "Meme" Duquesnay added 10 points, nine boards and seven steals.

Lehman is back in action on Tuesday (January 24^th) when it travels to Manhattan to take on Hunter College in a CUNYAC encounter set for 5 pm ET.
