Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - Forward Brianna Barnes notched 31 points as the hosts Lehman College women's basketball team ended a three-game losing streak on Tuesday evening with a 79-48 victory against CCNY in a CUNYAC encounter at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning imrpoved to an 8-13 overall ledger and 4-6 CUNYAC action, while the Beavers fall to a 4-17 mark and 2-8 in conference play.

After CCNY took an early 8-3 lead, Lehman went on a 23 to 3 run to close out the first period and never trailed after that as it held the visitors to just 38 percent shooting from the field for the rest of the game.

Forward Barbara Valentin had 24 points the Lightning, while teammate Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo added 12 points.

Lehman returns to action on Saturday (February 4th) when it hosts CUNYAC leader Brooklyn College at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 2 pm ET.
