Men’s Basketball Top Hunter

Bronx, N.Y. – Forward Isaiah Geathers notched a 'double-double' with 27 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 105-84 victory against visiting Hunter College in a CUNYAC match-up at The APEX Main Gym on Friday.  The Lightning go to an 8-6 overall record and 2-1 in CUNYAC play, while the Hawks drop to a 4-10 mark and 1-2 conference action.
 
After holding a five-point lead at the end of first half (46-41), Lehman went on a 32 to 21 run to increase its advantage to 16 points with 9:54 remaining and held on for the victory.
 
Guard Juan Fernandez had a Lightning-best 22 points, while forward Mo Idrissou scored 18 points and teammate Will Feldman added 13.  Also, forward Lasana Camara posted his first collegiate 'double-double' with 11 points and 10 boards.

Lehman continues CUNYAC action next Wednesday (January 11th) when it travels to take on York College-NY at 7 pm ET.
