Women’s Soccer Drop CUNYAC Game To CCNY

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 CUNYAC decision to visiting CCNY on Friday at South Field.  The Lightning go to 3-6-1 overall record and 2-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Beavers improved to a 6-4 mark and 3-0 in conference play.
 
After a scoreless first half, forward Stella Bolduc got CCNY on the board five minutes into the second stanza.  Midfielder Sara Rodriguez made it 2-0 in the 78th minute-mark, while forward Laura Villatoro had the Beavers' third tally with four minutes remaining.
 
Lightning goalkeeper Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo had nine saves during the encounter.
 
Lehman is back in action next Wednesday (October 18th) when it takes on the hosts Medar Evers College in a CUNYAC encounter at Brooklyn's Parade Ground with kickoff set for 4 pm ET.
