Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a 6-0 CUNYAC encounter to visiting John Jay College on Monday at South Field. The Lightning go to a 4-7-1 overall record and 3-2 CUNYAC action, while Bloodhounds improved to a 7-5 mark and 4-1 in conference play.
Forward Nora O'Connor had three goals (hat-trick) for John Jay, while midfielder Emma Fisher added two more.
Goalkeeper Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo had six saves for the CUNYAC playoff bound Lehman, which earned the number #3 seed in the postseason tournament and will take on the #2-John Jay this weekend.
Before the CUNYAC playoffs, the Lightning will close out the regular season on Thursday (October 26th) when they welcome the Yeshiva University Maccabees, in a non-conference affair, at South Field with kickoff set for 5 pm ET.
