The Lehman College women's tennis team suffered their first CUNYAC loss of the season, falling to John Jay 9-0 in a match that was contested at the National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow, NY. 

The three double matches were won at love by the Bloodhounds (5-2:3-0).  Shelby Gonzalez, playing fifth singles for the Lightning (2-4:2-1), played the closest match of the afternoon as the sophomore fell 6-3.

The Lightning return to the courts Wednesday afternoon to battle Hunter at 3 PM on the Lehman campus.
