Reading, Pa. – The Lehman College men's soccer team lost, 3-1, in the opening round of the ECAC to Saint Elizabeth University on Saturday at the Alvernia University's Turf Field.
The Lightning ended their season with a 7-7 overall record, while the Eagles improved to a 12-3-5 and advanced to the ECAC Quarterfinals and will face the hosts Alvernia.
Midfielder Marvin Miranda opened the scoring for Saint Elizabeth in 13th minute-mark. The Eagles made it 2-0 with a tally from midfielder Ethan Mosquera in the 32nd minute.
After Mosquera made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute, midfielder
Brandon Dennis got Lehman on the board 20 seconds later, however Saint Elizabeth held on for the victory.
