Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - Despite forward Brianna Barnes' 'double-double' (28 points, 14 rebounds) the Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its regular season home finale to John Jay College, 73-61, in CUNYAC encounter, on Wednesday evening at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning fall to an 8-15 overall record and 4-8 in CUNYAC play, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 15-8 mark and 9-3 in conference action.

Lehman trailed by 10 points (36-26) at the intermission, however John Jay went on a 24 to 17 run in the third quarter to pull away for the victory.

Center Myandra "Meme" Duquesnay had 10 points for the Lightning, while forward Barbara Valentin added eight.

Lehman continues CUNYAC action on Friday (February 10th) when it travels to take on Baruch College with tip-off set for 5:30 pm ET.
