Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team dropped a non-conference twin-bill to visiting College of Mount St. Vincent (3-1, 9-0) in the season's opening day at South Field on Friday. The Lightning fell to an 0-2 overall record, while the Dolphins go to a 2-0 mark.

Samantha Nazar pitched a complete game giving up just five hits and striking out nine batters.
In the nightcap, the Lightning's four errors cost them the encounter as Dolphins' eight of their nine runs were unearned, while the hosts only got two hits in five innings.
Lehman returns to action next Tuesday (March 14
th) when it hosts Baruch College in a non-conference game at South Field with first pitch set for 3:30 pm ET.
