Farmingdale, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball team dropped both non-conference games, (14-0, 18-5) against hosts Farmingdale State on Wednesday. The Lightning fell to an 0-11 record, while the Rams go to an 8-7 mark.
In the opener of the twin-bill, the highlight for Lehman were outfielders
Frederick de la Rosa and
Javaun Smith each had a single.
In the nightcap, Lightning infielder
Ryan Rosa went two-for-three, with a triple, a run scored and two RBI, while teammate
Justin Nunez scored twice and went one-for-two from the plate.
Lehman is back in action on Saturday (April 1
st), weather permitting, as it commences CUNYAC play when it hosts John Jay College in a doubleheader at South Field with first pitch set for noon.
