Aminata Sissoko and Nidia Nelson each captured weekly CUNYAC Track and Field honors for the week ending April 30, 2023. 

Sissoko was named CUNYAC Athlete of the Week. At the Central Connecticut State homecoming Meet, Sissoko, set a personal best when she placed 5th in the 400m, running  a conference leading qualifying time of 1:03.66. She also finished 10th in the long jump (4.22m). Then at the 2023 Yale Springtime Meet she had a solid performance Sissoko placed 13th  in the 100m (14.17)

Nelson was named CUNYAC Field Performer of the Week.  At the Central Connecticut State Homecoming Meet, Nelson set  two personal best in the hammer throw where she placed 7th in a CUNYAC qualifying toss of 38.82m; and the Discus throw where she placed 13th with a toss of 22.64m.
