New Britain, Conn. – Both Lehman College outdoor track and field squads participated at the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils Invitational where it finished in the top 10 in five individual events that also included Division I, II and III teams.

For the Lightning women, Malalia Siafa-Bangura, Emmanuella Chukwumeze and Danika Brown, Naomi Felton captured the bronze medal in the 4x100 Relay with a time of 55.10.  Amariah Emanuel-Tyler was sixth in the High Jump (1.30m), while Alanis Vasquez finished in ninth place in the Javelin Throw (22.72m).

On the Lehman men's side, Rismond Agyemang, Brandon Dennis, Cameron Dennis and Eberto Fernandez took eighth in the 4x100 Relay clocking in at 48.54, while in the 4x400 Relay, Fernandez, Marc Saint-Hilaire, Brandon and Cameron Dennis also claimed the eighth spot with a time of 3:43.60.

The Lightning are back in action next Saturday (May 2nd) when it competes at the CUNYAC Championships at Randalls Island's Icahn Stadium.
