Bronx, N.Y.  –  Samantha Nazar pitched two no-hitters for the hosts Lehman College softball team as it swept the non-conference twin-bill on Thursday against Yeshiva University, both with same scoreline of 17-0, at South Field.  The Lightning improved to a 6-16 overall record, while the Maccabees go to a 2-25 mark.

Prior to the doubleheader, the Lehman athletics department honored the seniors Andrea Alarcon and Taina Santamaria.

In the nightcap, infielder Patria Sanchez led the way for Lehman as she was two-for-three with two runs scored and three RBI, while Perez went three-for-four and scored three times with two RBI.  Isley and Nelson also drove in two runs each, while Nazar once again struck out nine for the second consecutive shutout win.
