Morristown, N.J. – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision against the host Saint Elizabeth University, in a non-conference match-up, at SEU Soccer Field on Wednesday. The Lightning go to an 0-3-1 overall record, while the Eagles improved to a 4-2 mark.
The only goal of the match was scored by Saint Elizabeth's defender Emily Fearon three minutes before halftime off an assist from midfielder Laila Kendle.
The Lightning highlight was goalkeeper Ramatoulaye Diallo as she made 15 saves during the encounter.
Lehman continues its road swing on Saturday (September 23rd) when it visits University of Valley Forge, in a non-conference encounter, with kickoff set for 2 pm ET.
