Women's Basketball Fall Against Hunter

Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - Despite a 'double-double' (28 points, 11 rebounds) from forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo, the Lehman College women's basketball team dropped a 77-66 CUNYAC encounter visiting Hunter College at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday.  The Lightning go 4-12 overall record and 3-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Hawks improved to a 7-10 mark and 3-3 in conference play.

After Lehman took an early lead (3-2), Hunter went on a 41 to 32 run to take a five-point advantage at the intermission. The Lightning then, outscored the Hawks 17 to 15 in the third period to cut the lead however, the visitors went on a 19 to 14 run in the final 10 minutes for the victory.

Diallo also dished out eight assists for Lehman on Wednesday, while guard Jordyn Perez added 12 points on four-of-eight from three-point range.

The Lightning continue CUNYAC action on Saturday (January 20th) when they travel to Manhattan take on Baruch College with tip-off set for noon.
