Amherst, Mass. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped a non-conference encounter, on the road, to three-time NCAA D3 Champion Amherst College, 74-42, on Monday afternoon at LeFrak Gymnasium.  The Lightning go to a 4-14 overall record, while the Mammoths improved to a 14-4 mark.

Amherst concluded the first period with a 22 to 7 run and never looked back for the victory.

Center Myandra "Meme' Duquesnay scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Lehman, while forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo had 13 points and nine boards.

The Lightning will try to end their four-game losing streak when they travel to take on CCNY in a CUNYAC match-up on Tuesday (January 23rd) at 5 pm ET.
