Mahwah, N.J. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match, 3-0 (8-25, 15-25, 12-25), at Ramapo College on Monday at the Bradley Center. The Lightning go to a 0-3 overall record, while the Roadrunners improved to a 2-0 mark.
After losing the first set, Lehman took a 12-9 lead midway through the second set. Ramapo, then went on a 16 to 3 run to win the second game. In the third set, the Lightning had a 5-5 stalemate early on, however the Roadrunners claimed the match after going on a 20 to 7 run.
Alain Abreu Esteva notched three kills for Lehman, while
Christian Agudo,
Andrew Figueroa and
Amir Pepic all had two kills each. Agudo also dished out nine assists, four digs and a block.
The Lightning are back in action on Wednesday (January 31st) when they welcome Drew University, in a non-conference match-up, at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
