New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team's five-game winning streak came to an end in the regular season finale on Saturday as it fell 6-1 to hosts John Jay College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at Randall's Island. The Lightning ended the regular season with a 10-4 overall record, 4-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to an 8-5-1 mark and a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
Lehman also finished second in CUNYAC Standing and have the number #2 in the upcoming playoffs as it will host #3-seeded CCNY in the semifinals at South Field on Saturday (November 2nd). Meanwhile, #1-seeded John Jay welcome #4-seeded CCNY in the other semifinal.
Forward Anna Wehr scored twice for the Bloodhounds, while midfielders Lucia Giangaspero, Daniela Vazquez and strikers Olivia Boucher and Emma Fisher each added a tally.
