Women’s Soccer Fall At Centenary-NJ

Hackettstown, N.J. – The Lehman College women's soccer team's three-game winning streak ended as it fell by a score of 4-0 to hosts Centenary University-NJ, in a non-conference encounter, on Saturday at J.E. Reeves Jr. Field.  The Lightning go to a 5-3 overall mark, while the Cyclones improved to a 4-6 record.

Forward Jenna Magrino opened the scoring for the home-side just before halftime.  Defender Liliana Flores and midfielder Jessica Smith added Centenary-NJ tallies in the 49th and 68th minutes, respectively.  Meanwhile, Flores added her second goal of the match in the 69th minute-mark.

The highlight for Lehman were goalkeepers Katelyn Rice and Nayalee Morales as they saw action in each half and posted five and one, saves, respectively.

The Lightning return to action on Saturday (October 12th) when they hosts Brooklyn College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at South Field with kickoff set for noon.
