Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team concluded its 2024 season with a three-set (17-25, 7-25, 9-25) loss at Brooklyn College during the opening round of the CUNYAC Championship on Tuesday evening at the West Quad Center. The Lightning dropped to a 6-17 overall record, while the Bulldogs improved to a 14-13 mark and advanced to the CUNYAC semifinals.
Lehman jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the first set, however Brooklyn went on a 20 to 6 run to take the opening set. The Bulldogs then easily won the next two sets to claim the match.
Arianna Calderon led the Lightning offense with eight kills, while
Ana Mena dished out 12 assists and
Alanis Vasquez grabbed 10 digs.
