Box Score Towson, Md.  – The Lehman College women's basketball team lost its second encounter during the Renie Amoss Tip-Off event, hosted by Goucher College, on Saturday as it was defeated 64-47 by Eastern Mennonite University at the Decker Sports & Recreation Center.  The Lightning go to a 1-3 overall record, while the Royals improved to a 3-1 mark.

Eastern Mennonite jumped out to a commanding 27-10 lead after the first quarter, when Lehman attempted to cut the lead as it outscored its opponent in two of the remaining three periods, however the deficit could not be overcome. 

Forward Emily Kennedy led the Lightning offense with 15 points and six rebounds, while teammate Mush Muniru had 13 points and seven boards.  Guard Heaven Figueroa added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Lehman will return to action after the Thanksgiving holiday when it hosts Purchase College, in a non-conference match, at The APEX Main Gym, with tip-off set for 2 pm ET.
