Kai Parris notched a 'double-double' (17 points, 11 rebounds) to lead the hosts Lehman College men's basketball team to an 81-60 victory against St. Joseph's University-NY, in a non-conference encounter, at The APEX Main Gym, on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 3-2 overall record, while the Bears dropped to a 1-2 mark.
Lehman took a 42-28 lead into the intermission and held off any possible comeback by St. Joseph's-NY in the second stanza for the victory.
Guards
Kahleem Jennings and
Kofi Mends added 16 points each for the Lightning, while forward
Lasana Camara had nine points and rebounds.
Lehman returns to action on Saturday (November 23rd) when it travels to Washington, D.C., to take on Gallaudet University, in a non-conference game, with tip-off set for 2 pm ET.
