Bronx, N.Y. – Two by forward Mohamed Alia Sogoba secured the hosts Lehman College men's soccer team a spot into the CUNYAC Championship Final, next weekend, after defeating Brooklyn College, 2-0, in the semifinals, at South Field on Saturday. The Lightning extended their unbeaten streak to nine games as they improved to an 8-6-2 overall record, while the Bulldogs go to a 6-9-1 mark.
Sogoba opened the scoring for Lehman in the 37th minute off an assist from forward
Joseph Ademola Opesanwo.
Sogoba then notched his second tally of the game for the Lightning in the 55th minute of the second stanza off another pass from Ademola Opesanwo.

Andres Barajas need just to make one save for his seventh shutout of the season.
The Lightning will now take on Hunter College, which eliminated CCNY in sudden-death overtime (2-1) in the other semifinal, in the CUNYAC Championship Finale next Saturday (November 9th) at 3 pm ET.
