Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team dropped a CUNYAC twin-bill, 6-0, 15-4, to visiting Baruch College on Saturday at South Field. The Lightning go to a 7-10-1 overall record and 2-2 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to a 10-11 mark and 4-2 in conference play.
After trailing by a single run after two innings in the twin-bill opener, Lehman surrendered to more runs in the third and then three more in the seventh as Baruch held on for the shutout victory. Infielders

Jireh Espina were the only ones to obtain a hit for the Lightning.
In the nightcap, the Bearcats jumped to a 5-1 lead after two and half innings. Then, Lehman got three runs in the bottom of the third to cut the deficit to one (5-4). However, Baruch notched three runs in the fourth inning and seven more in the sixth for the win. The highlight for the Lightning was outfielder

Lehman returns to action on Monday (April 22nd) when it travels to take on SUNY Canton, in a non-conference doubleheader, at 3 pm ET.
