Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer dropped a 3-2 non-conference encounter to visiting College at Old Westbury on Saturday at South Field. The Lightning go to a 2-1 overall record, while the Panthers improved to a 2-3 mark.
Midfielder
Emily Huerta opened the scoring for Lehman in the 26th minute-mark, before midfielder Eleni Petri tied it for Old Westbury three minutes later.
Forward
Lory Castro scored in the 37th minute off an assist from Huerta to give the Lightning the lead once again, however the Panthers leveled it again (2-2) with a tally from midfielder Jocelyn Forseth off a pass from Petri.
Forward Stefany Donnelly notched the game-winner for Old Westbury in the 52nd minute of the second half.
Lehman is back in action on Wednesday (September 18th) when it visits New Jersey City University, in a non-conference match, at 1:30 pm ET.
