Jersey City, N.J. – The Lehman College women's soccer team fell by a score of 10-0 to hosts New Jersey City University, in a non-conference encounter, on Saturday, at Thomas Gerrity Athletics Complex. The Lightning go to a 2-2 overall record, while the Gothic Knights improved to a 3-0-3 mark.
Midfielder Arianna Chavez led the way for New Jersey City with four goals, while forward Kim Brites added three tallies.
The Lehman highlight was goalkeepers
Katelyn Rice and
Nayalee Morales who played a half each and made 10 and five saves, respectively.
The Lightning return to action on Tuesday (September 24th) as they host Pratt Institute, in a non-conference game, at South Field with kickoff set for 5 pm ET.
