Lory Castro gave the Lehman College women's soccer team a 3-2 victory against visiting Pratt Institute, in a non-conference encounter, at South Field on Tuesday evening. The Lightning improved to a 3-2 overall record, while the Cannoneers drop to a 3-5 mark.
Lehman took a 1-0 lead at halftime after Meda scored in the opening 26 seconds of the match.
Pratt battled back in the second stanza and tied the game in the 78th minute-mark with a goal from defender Vinona Dsilva.
The Lightning then scored twice in a span of three minutes with tallies from Huerta (79th) and Castro (82nd) for a 3-1 advantage.
Midfielder Emma Pratt notched Cannoneers' second goal in the 84th minute, however the hosts held on for the victory.

Katelyn Rice had four saves for her third collegiate victory of the season.
The Lightning continue their home-stand when they take on Medgar Evers College, in a non-conference game, at South Field with kickoff set for noon.
