Bronx, N.Y. – Forward Lory Castro and midfielder Emily Huerta each scored three times (hat-tricks) to lead the Lehman College women's soccer team to a 9-0 victory against visiting Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at South Field, on Saturday.  The Lightning go to a 4-2 overall record and 1-0 in conference play, while the Cougars fall to an 0-2 mark and 0-1 in CUNYAC action.

All the scoring came in the first half, as along with tallies from Castro and Huerta, midfielder Barbara Meda notched two and Natalie Kola added one for Lehman.

Goalkeepers Katelyn Rice and Nayalee Morales each shared time in the net for the combined shutout victory.

The Lightning will look for their third consecutive victory when they hosts Maritime College, in a non-conference game, at South Field, with kickoff set for 6 pm ET.
