Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team surrendered two goals in the last seven minutes to fall in its home season opener, 2-1, against Farmingdale State College, in a non-conference encounter, at South Field on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 0-1 record, while the Rams improved to a 2-1 mark.

In the second half, Farmingdale State pressured the hosts defense, and it paid off in the 83rd minute when forward Olvin Yanes tied the score (1-1) from a pass from midfielder Jean Mejia.
With two minutes remaining, midfielder Johnny Guillen notched the game-winner for the Rams off an assist from midfielder Jose Mejia.
The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (September 7th) when they welcome Saint Elizabeth University in a non-conference match at South Field at 1 pm ET.
