Bronx, N.Y. – Despite 20 points from guard
Kunal Bagga, the Lehman College men's basketball team lost for the first time this season a CUNYAC encounter as it was defeated by visiting John Jay College, 82-69, at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 10-6 overall record and 4-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to an 11-5 mark and 4-1 in conference play.
After Lehman took a 14-12 lead midway through the first half, John Jay came back with a 30 to 15 run to take a 13-point advantage (42-29) into the intermission. The Bloodhounds held off any possible comeback by the Lightning in the second stanza for the victory.

Kai Parris was the only other Lightning player in double-figures as he notched 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for another 'double-double.'
Lehman is back in action next Wednesday (January 22nd) when it travels to face Hunter College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at 7 pm ET.
