Riverdale, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team lost a non-conference encounter, 11-0, to hosts University of Mount St. Vincent at Marillac Athletic Field on Thursday evening. The Lightning go to an 0-10 overall record, while the Dolphins improved to an 8-2-2 mark.
Mount St. Vincent jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead after defender Kerrigyn Lynam, midfielders Ima Kellerman, Claire Elliot, Caroline Gomes and forward Michelle Zuniga all scored.
Elliot and Lynam added another goal each in the second stanza, while forwards Emily Legler, Shayln Pryor, Aiyanna Robles Sedano and defender Kadence Gonzalez all added a tally for the Dolphins.
Lehman goalkeeper Katelyn Rice had nine saves.
The Lightning is back in action on Saturday (October 18th) when it travels to take on Brooklyn College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at noon.
