Bronx, N.Y. – Despite a 17-save performance by goalkeeper Katelyn Rice wasn't enough for the Lehman College women's soccer team as it dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to the visiting CCNY in a CUNYAC match at South Field on Wednesday. The Lightning go to an 0-12 overall record and 0-3 in conference play, while the Beavers improved to a 3-7-2 mark and 2-1 in CUNYAC action.
The Lehman held CCNY scoreless for 88 minutes of the encounter, until midfielder Sara Rodriguez notched the game-winner 60 seconds later for the victory.
The Lightning will conclude the regular season on Saturday (October 25th) with its home-finale at South Field as it takes on York College-NY, in an CUNYAC encounter, at 1 pm ET.
