Flushing, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to hosts Hunter College during the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals on Tuesday at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Lightning end the season with a 6-7 overall record, while the Hawks improved to a 10-0 mark.
The semifinal commenced with Lehman falling in all three doubles encounters by the same scores of 6-0 each.
In singles action, Hunter clinched the victory as only two matches were completed. The Lightning's
Amya Sanchez lost 6-1, 6-1, in #1-singles to the Hawks' Isabell Tchij, while
Fernanda Navarrete of Lehman dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision in #2-singles to Jade Schonfeld of Hunter.
