Heaven Figueroa paced the Lehman College women's basketball team to a 61-49 victory against visiting Ramapo College, in a non-conference encounter, at The APEX Main Gym, on Saturday. The Lightning improved to a 5-3 overall record, while the Roadrunners dropped to a 4-3 mark.
After leading by just two points (44-42) at the end of the third period, Lehman went on 17 to 7 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and post its first victory against the New Jersey side since November 17, 2007 (55-39).

Isabela Araujo notched 12 points with eight rebounds, for the Lightning while teammate
Emily Kennedy was a rebound shy of a 'double-double' as she grabbed nine boards and scored 10 points.
Lehman commence CUNYAC action next Saturday (December 6th) when it travels to take on John Jay College at 1 pm ET.
