Scranton, Pa. – A 'double-double' (14 points, 10 rebounds) from forward
Amar Ndiaye paced the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 74-47 victory against Neumann University, in the consolation game of the Hilton Scranton Invitational Championship on Saturday at John Long Center. The Lightning go to a 1-1 overall record, while the Knights dropped to an 0-2 mark.
After taking a 14-point lead at the half, Lehman continued its domination in the second half as it outscored Neumann 36-26 after shooting 44 percent from the field for the match.
Forward
Tyler Harts also scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Lightning, while guard
Kofi Mends notched 13 points and forward
Ricardo Dixon had 12 points.
Lehman will be back in action next Tuesday (November 11th) when it has its home opener against non-conference opponent Purchase College, at The APEX Main Gym, with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
