Lehman Withdraws From CUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship

Due to the safeguards implemented, Lehman College Athletics, including the men's basketball coaches, were informed on Wednesday that a men's basketball student-athlete was not eligible to play. However, the student-athlete participated in Tuesday's semifinal game against John Jay College. Upon learning this, we immediately contacted the CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC), and after consulting with CUNYAC administrators, Lehman College has withdrawn from the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship. Lehman College acknowledges the unfortunate circumstances that led to the withdrawal of our men's basketball team from the CUNYAC Championship and recognizes the impact this has had on our student-athletes, coaches, and their supporters. We remain committed to supporting our athletes and continuously strengthening our processes to enhance their experience.
