Quow Named Athletics Administrative Coordinator

BRONX, N.Y. – Lehman College Director of Athletics Ryan McCarthy has announced the appointment of Claudia Quow as the department's new Athletics Administrative Coordinator, where she will provide operational and administrative support for the Lightning's 18 varsity programs and departmental initiatives.

Quow brings a diverse background in sports administration, event operations, communications, and business management to Lehman College. She served as a Development Intern at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and has also worked with the University of Massachusetts Amherst Department of Athletics, supporting game-day operations for men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball. Her experience includes event management, budgeting, scheduling, communications, database management, and executive-level project support.

In her role at Lehman, Quow will assist with department operations, budget administration, purchasing, event coordination, record keeping, facility scheduling, and support of major initiatives, including the annual Athletics Awards Banquet and APEX Fitness Center operations.

"We are excited to welcome Claudia to the Lehman College family," said Director of Athletics and APEX Facilities Ryan McCarthy.  "Claudia's experiences at UMass and at the Basketball Hall of Fame prepare her well to transition to our department and support our operations at a high level. I am confident she will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our student-athletes, coaches, and campus community."

Quow earned dual degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, including an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management and a Master of Science degree in Sport Management. She received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo and has compiled a 3.75 graduate GPA.

"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Lehman College Athletics," said Quow. "From the moment I met the staff, I could feel the department's commitment to excellence and student success. I look forward to contributing to that culture, supporting our coaches and student-athletes, and helping continue the growth and success of Lehman Athletics."

Quow's professional experience also includes serving as an Operations Assistant with Douglas Elliman, where she managed budgeting, vendor coordination, and operational workflows across a multimillion-dollar property portfolio. She is proficient in numerous organizational and analytical platforms, including Salesforce, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Tableau.
