New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped its third consecutive CUNYAC match as it lost in three sets (19-25, 19-25, 15-25) to the hosts John Jay College at The Doghouse on Thursday evening. The Lightning go to an 11-5 overall record and 3-5 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 13-5 mark and 5-2 in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman held John Jay leveled (1-1) early in the third set before the home side went on a 24 to 14 run to claim the set and the match.
Emmanuel Cochran led the Lightning offense with five kills, while
John Zerafa dished out 16 assists and grabbed eight digs.
Lehman returns to action on Saturday (March 15th) when it hosts Medgar Evers College, in a CUNYAC match-up, at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 10 am ET.
