Heaven Figueroa of the Lehman College women's basketball team earned second team All-Met honors by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA).
Figueroa, who received another individual accolade this season, was a CUNYAC All-Star and ranked third in country in scoring averaging 24.8 points per contest.
The Brooklyn native was a two-time CUNYAC Player of the Week and earned National Team of Week Recognition back in mid-January. She also led the squad in rebounding (8.8) and ranks second on the team in assists (89) which both rank sixth in CUNYAC. Her 122 steals lead the team and ranked second in the conference.
Figueroa, who was also named Women's Basketball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-America, D3Hoops.com All-Region and All-ECAC First Team, was one of 20 student athletes from around the country selected to play in the D3 Women's All-Star Game at Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
