Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team lost both encounters (15-5, 15-6) of the CUNYAC twin-bill to visiting Brooklyn College, at South Field, on Wednesday. The Lightning go to a 6-12 overall record and 0-4 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs improved to a 12-15 mark and 4-2 in conference play.
In the opener, Brooklyn led 8-4 before Lehman got two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to cut the advantage to two. The Bulldogs, then scored six more times for the victory. Infielder

Lizbeth Perez also registered two hits each along with a run scored and RBI.
In the nightcap, Brooklyn once again had an early lead 6-1, before Lehman got four runs in the bottom of the second to cut the advantage to one. Lehman returns to action on Friday (April 18th) when it travels to Wayne, N.J. for a non-conference doubleheader against William Paterson University at noon.
