Jersey City, N.J. – The Lehman College softball team lost both games of non-conference twin-bill (10-2, 11-6) at New Jersey City University on Thursday at Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.  The Lightning go to an 8-18 overall record, while the Gothic Knights improved to a 17-19 mark.

After a scoreless in the first inning of the opening game on Thursday, New Jersey City jumped to a 3-0 lead after the second inning and never looked back as it added seven more runs, while limiting Lehman to just two runs on five hits.  Outfielder Lizbeth Perez scored twice while having three hits, including a home run, for the Lightning.
