The Lightning women's soccer team got shut out 6-0 against the visiting Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University.
Lehman (0-3) still looking for their first victory of the season were shut out for the first time this season. The Lehman College offense struggled against the Gothic Knights. Playing defense most of the game the Lehman struggled to get the ball into the attacking third and were held without a shot on goal. Conversely, NJCU peppered Kaitlyn Rice, the Lehman goal keeper all day long. The Lehman net minder came up with a season high 15 saves.
NJUC improves to 5-2 on the season.
