Bronx, N.Y. – Three 'double-doubles' from forwards
Tyler Harts (22 points, 11 Rebounds),
Amar Ndiaye (13 points, 11 rebounds) and
Ricardo Dixon (10 points, 11 rebounds) paced the Lehman College men's basketball to its fourth consecutive victory and in sole possession of first-place in CUNYAC with a perfect 5-0 mark after a 91-63 win over visiting conference rival York College-NY, at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning also improved to a 10-6 overall record, while the Cardinals dropped to a 4-8 mark and 4-1 in CUNYAC action.
After holding a 13-point lead at the intermission (39-26), Lehman continued its dominance in the second half outscoring York-NY, 52 to 37, for its eighth consecutive head-to-head victory.
Guard
Kofi Mends added 18 points for the Lightning, while teammate
Zay Marte had 10 points.
Lehman will look remain unbeaten and atop of the CUNYAC Standings when it hosts Hunter College, at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 5 pm ET.
